Philmac Metric is the second generation of Philmac compression fittings and is one of the fastest, easiest and most reliable connector for joining metric polyethylene pipe. Installing these compression fittings takes one-third of the time of conventional compression fittings because there’s no pipe preparation and no fiddling with loose components. You just slide in the pipe, tighten the nut and the job is done.
The fitting is made from high performance polypropylene and provides outstanding resistance to chemicals, sunlight, impact and corrosion. The Philmac Metric range is also 100% interchangeable with the Philmac Rural range, offering greater flexibility between imperial B-class and metric pipe connections.
